Payments and Transactions
Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Stripe and PayPal.
Payment information is submitted through the applicable payment provider’s system. Depending on the transaction, ECHOLOGISTS may receive limited information such as your name, email address, billing address, transaction identification number, payment status, amount paid, currency, product or service purchased, and refund or dispute information.
Stripe and PayPal handle payment information according to their own privacy policies, security measures, and terms.
ECHOLOGISTS does not request that payment-card information be sent through ordinary email, social media messages, public comments, or general contact forms.

Educational Case, Image, and Content Submissions
When you submit educational material, ECHOLOGISTS may collect your name and contact information, professional or educational role, images, echocardiographic cine loops, videos, diagrams, documents, case descriptions, measurements, annotations, clinical context, captions, source information, consent or permission information, attribution preferences, and communications relating to the submission.
Submissions must not contain identifiable patient information unless ECHOLOGISTS has expressly approved a secure and lawful submission process in advance.
Do not submit unedited files containing information such as:
- patient names or identifying initials;
- dates of birth;
- addresses, telephone numbers, or email addresses;
- medical-record, health-card, or accession numbers;
- facial images or voice recordings;
- facility identifiers, barcodes, or report headers;
- embedded metadata; or
- other information that could reasonably identify a patient.
Contributors remain responsible for ensuring that they are authorized to submit the material and that all required permissions, consents, institutional approvals, and de-identification steps have been completed.

Do not post personal, confidential, patient-identifying, or sensitive information in public areas.
Children and Younger Users
ECHOLOGISTS provides educational content that may be viewed by students and younger users. However, accounts, purchases, submissions, and contractual services are not intended to be used by children who cannot provide legally meaningful consent.
